Implementation of EIOPA Guidelines on Outsourcing to Cloud Service Providers (EIOPA-BoS-20-002)

The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared its compliance with the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) guidelines on outsourcing to cloud service providers. These guidelines apply to insurance and reinsurance undertakings and participating and parent companies under ACPR supervision, who must take all measures to comply. This declaration fulfills the requirements of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1094/2010 establishing EIOPA.

OPINION

Implementation of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) Guidelines on Outsourcing to Cloud Service Providers (EIOPA-BoS-20-002)

The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared itself compliant with the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) guidelines on outsourcing to cloud service providers (EIOPA-BoS-20-002).

These guidelines are applicable to insurance and reinsurance undertakings and to participating and parent companies mentioned respectively in the second and third paragraphs of Article L. 356-2 of the Insurance Code, subject to ACPR supervision, who must do everything in their power to comply with them, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1094/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 establishing the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority.
