Circular No. 76 (2023): Fifth Issue of the 20 Jordanian Dinar Denomination

The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 76 (2023) requiring all specialized lending institutions operating in Palestine to immediately implement procedures for handling the new fifth series of the 20 Jordanian Dinar banknotes. Subject: Fifth Issue of the (20) Jordanian Dinar Denomination

In light of the Central Bank of Jordan issuing a new fifth series of banknotes in the (20) Jordanian Dinar denomination. Immediate measures are requested to accept transactions with the new issue, including:

  1. Preparing devices to accept counting and inspecting the new series of banknotes alongside the current series of the same denomination.
  2. Training staff on the security features of the currency to enable the detection of any forgery or counterfeiting.
