The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission requires regulated entities, including CIFs and investment firms, to notify their intention to provide crypto-asset services under Article 60 of MiCA. This notification must be submitted to authorisations@cysec.gov.cy by 9 August 2024 for entities seeking Union equivalence with existing EU authorizations. Entities requiring assistance should contact the Authorisations Department directly.
