Decision on Establishing the Collections of Commemorative Montenegrin Coins

The Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro issued this decision to establish ten specific collections of commemorative coins celebrating the bank's operational anniversary. The regulation mandates precise packaging standards, requiring gold and silver sets in embossed leather or skivertex boxes and alloy sets in plastic containers, each accompanied by a certificate. The decision entered into force on the eighth day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Montenegro.

Pursuant to Article 17 paragraph 1 point 2 of the Central Bank of Montenegro Law (OGRM 52/00, 47/01), the Central Bank of Montenegro Council, at its meeting held on 15 August 2002, passed the following Decision on establishing the collections of commemorative Montenegrin coins Article 1

  1. The commemorative coins issued on the occasion of celebrating the anniversary of the Central Bank of Montenegro’s commencement of operation shall be packed into the following collections: 1.1 The Collection of All Montenegrin Coins (10 denominations) – 40 pcs. (Principality 20; Kingdom 20); 1.2 The Collection of Three Gold Coins and Three Silver Coins – 40 pcs. (Principality 20; Kingdom 20); 1.3 Three Gold Coins Collection – 100 pcs. (Principality 50; Kingdom 50); 1.4 The Collection (one gold coin in denomination of 20 Perpers and one silver coin in denomination of 2 Perpers) – 200 pcs. (Principality 100; Kingdom 100); 1.5 The Collection (one gold coin in denomination of 10 Perpers and one silver coin in denomination of 1 Perper) – 200 pcs. (Principality 100; Kingdom 100); 1.6 One gold coin in denomination of 100 Perpers – 20 pcs. (Principality 10; Kingdom 10); 1.7 One gold coin in denomination of 20 Perpers – 120 pcs. (Principality 60; Kingdom 60); 1.8 One gold coin in denomination of 10 Perpers – 120 pcs. (Principality 60; Kingdom 60); 1.9 The Three Silver Coins Collection – 500 pcs. (Principality 250; Kingdom 250); 1.10 The Three Silver Coins and Four Alloys Collection – 1000 pcs. (Principality 500; Kingdom 500); 1.11 One silver coin in denomination of 5 Perpers – 420 pcs. (Principality 210; Kingdom 210); 1.12 One silver coin in denomination of 2 Perpers – 220 pcs. (Principality 110; Kingdom 110); 1.13 One silver coin in denomination of 1 Perpers – 220 pcs. (Principality 110; Kingdom 110); 1.14 The Four Alloys Collection (1, 2, 10, 20 Para) – 1,980 pcs.
  2. The collections of Montenegrin coins that contain only gold coins or the combination of gold – silver referred to in item 1, sub-items 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 herein, shall be packed in blue leather boxes (black – Kingdom of Montenegro, brown – Principality of Montenegro) embossed by dry seal of the royal coat of arms of the Petrović dynasty.
  3. The collections of Montenegrin coins that contain only silver coins or the combination of silver – alloys referred to in item 1, sub-items 1.9, 1.10, 1.11, 1.12, 1.13 herein, shall be

packed in grey skivertex boxes embossed by dry seal of the royal coat of arms of the Petrović dynasty. 4. The collections of Montenegrin coins that contain only alloys referred to in item 1, sub-item 1.14 herein shall be packed in plastic boxes with paper wrapping that contain technical specifications of the specified alloys. 5. Each collection of Montenegrin coins shall have a corresponding certificate which makes an integral part of the collection (separately printed on high-quality paper and packed in the designated place of the box). 6. This decision shall enter into force on the eighth day following that of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Montenegro.
