Bank of Zambia Circular 09/2025: Calendar for Submission of Payment Systems Returns for 2026
The Bank of Zambia’s Office of the Deputy Governor – Operations issues this circular to establish the mandatory submission calendar and deadlines for payment systems returns throughout the 2026 financial year. It specifies precise due dates for daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements, including specialized attestations for mobile money rewards, ZIPSS, the SWIFT Customer Security Programme, and audited financial statements. All returns must be filed through the Digital Financial Services portal by the designated deadlines, with a K500 daily penalty applied for late or non-compliant submissions until the breach is resolved.
