FSCA COMMUNICATION 22 OF 2023 (GENERAL) ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING WEBINAR FOR ACCOUNTABLE INSTITUTIONS – SEPTEMBER 2023

  1. Purpose The purpose of the Communication is to inform accountable institutions supervised by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) that the FSCA has posted a webinar recording on anti-money laundering on its official YouTube channel, and to provide additional information in this regard.
  2. Background 2.1 On 1 September 2023, the FSCA posted a recording of a webinar on its official YouTube channel highlighting important aspects relating to the combatting of money￾laundering by accountable institutions supervised by the FSCA. 2.2 The webinar is accredited for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) purposes with the Financial Planning Institute. 2.3 Viewers of the webinar recording who wish to obtain the accredited CPD recognition will be required to complete an assessment.
