Circular No. 6 of 2025: Eid al-Fitr Holiday
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 6 of 2025 mandating that all payment service companies operating in Palestine suspend operations during the Eid al-Fitr holiday from the morning of March 30, 2025, through the evening of April 2, 2025. The directive requires these companies to resume official duties on the morning of April 3, 2025, in accordance with Law No. 41 of 2022 concerning National Payments. The Governor also extended holiday greetings to the workforce and expressed hopes for the realization of Palestinian statehood with Jerusalem as its capital.

To all payment service companies operating in Palestine Date: Tuesday, March 25, 2025
Subject: Eid al-Fitr Holiday
Based on the provisions of Law No. (41) of 2022 concerning National Payments, and in light of the decision of the esteemed Cabinet, it has been decided to suspend payment service companies operating in Palestine on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, starting from the morning of Sunday, March 30, 2025, until the evening of Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Payment service companies shall resume their official duties starting from the morning of Thursday, April 3, 2025.
On this blessed occasion, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to all employees of payment service companies, and we ask God to return it to our Palestinian people with their wishes fulfilled in establishing the independent Palestinian state with its capital, Jerusalem.
