Pursuant to Article 21, paragraph 1 of the Law on the National Bank of
Serbia (“RS Official Gazette” No. 72/2003) and Section 5 of the Decision on
the Uniform Blank Bill of Exchange (“FRY Official Gazette” No. 29/94 and “RS
Official Gazette” No. 39/2004), the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia
hereby issues the following
DECISION
ON PUTTING INTO CIRCULATION UNIFORM BLANK BILLS OF
EXCHANGE, THEIR SELLING PRICE AND WITHDRAWAL FROM
CIRCULATION
- On 1 June 2004, the National Bank of Serbia shall put into circulation
a uniform blank bill of exchange which shall bear the features as set out in the
Decision on the Uniform Blank Bill of Exchange.
- The uniform blank bill of exchange referred to in Section 1 hereof shall
be sold through banks in compliance with a special agreement signed
between the National Bank of Serbia and banks.
- The National Bank of Serbia shall sell the uniform blank bill of
exchange referred to in Section 1 hereof at the price of 50 dinars.
- Uniform blank bills of exchange in denomination of 2, 5, 25, 50, and
250 new dinars, printed and put into circulation in line with the Decision on
Entering into Circulation, Sale, Exchange and Withdrawal from the Circulation
of Uniform Blank Bills of Exchange (“FRY Official Gazette” No. 36/94) and
uniform blank bills of exchange in denomination of 500, 2,500, and 5,000
dinars, printed and put into circulation in line with the Decision on the Nominal
Value of Uniform Blank Bills of Exchange and Putting into Circulation and
Sale of Such Bills of Exchange (“FRY Official Gazette” No. 29/2002), shall
cease to be valid as of the day of entry into force hereof.
The blank bills of exchange referred to in paragraph 1 of this Section
shall be withdrawn from circulation by 30 June 2004.
- This decision shall come into force on the date following its publication
in the „RS Official Gazette”.
