FSCA COMMUNICATION 43 OF 2024 (RF) Publication of FSCA RF Notice 25 of 2024: Determination of Format and Manner of Regulation 28 Quarterly Non-Compliance Reports

1. PURPOSE The purpose of this Communication is to inform stakeholders that, today, the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) published the FSCA RF Notice 25 of 2024: Determination of Format and Manner of Regulation 28 Quarterly Non￾Compliance Reports (Notice).
2. BACKGROUND 2.1 On 2 April 2024, the FSCA published the following documents: (a) FSCA Prudential Standard 1 of 2024: Regulation 28 Quarterly Reporting Requirements for Pension Funds (Prudential Standard); (b) Statement supporting the Prudential Standard; (c) FSCA RF Notice 8 of 2024: Determination of Format and Manner of Regulation 28 Quarterly Reports (FSCA RF Notice 8); and (d) Consultation Report. 2.2 After the abovementioned publication, it came to the attention of the FSCA that some items were erroneously excluded from the tables contained in Annexure A to the Schedule of FSCA RF Notice 8. The purpose of FSCA RF Notice 25 of 2024 is to rectify these exclusions, and also to include notes and instructions on the submissions of the reports.
