## INFORMATION CIRCULAR PF NO. 3 OF 2012

### PENSION FUNDS ACT, NO 24 OF 1956  
### SECTION 13B – ADMINISTRATION OF INVESTMENTS ON BEHALF OF PENSION FUNDS

The approval of investment administrators in terms of section 13B of the Pension Funds Act, 1956 was delegated to the Registrar of Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (“FAIS”). As a consequence all duly completed applications for approval in terms of section 13B in respect of investment administration must be directed to the Registrar of FAIS.

With effect from 1 January 2013 all approvals and continuous supervision of investment administrators in terms of section 13B will from be conducted by the FAIS Department.
