The Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro issued these Rules to amend the Operating Rules of the Central Bank of Montenegro Payment System. The amendment permits participants to process cash payments to and from the State Treasury Central Account without separating banknotes and coins, provided they use message MT 202 with CODTYPTR/002 in field 72. These Rules entered into force the day following their publication in the Official Gazette of Montenegro and apply from 9 January 2015.
Pursuant to Article 44 paragraph 2 point 3 of the Central Bank of Montenegro Law (OGM 40/10, 46/10, 06/13) and Article 158 paragraph 3 of the Payment System Law (OGM 62/13), the Central Bank of Montenegro Council, at its meeting held on 26 December 2014, passed the following RULES SUPPLEMENTING OPERATING RULES OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF MONTENEGRO PAYMENT SYSTEM Article 1 In the Operating Rules of the Central Bank of Montenegro Payment System (OGM 48/14) in point 2.3 of the ANNEX 3 in the NOTE below the table of the indent 2, a new paragraph shall be added to read as follows: “By way of derogation from paragraph 1 of this Note, a participant shall perform cash payments to the State Treasury Central Account and cash payments from the State Treasury Central Account without separating banknotes and coins and it shall only use message MT 202 which contains CODTYPTR/002 in the field 72.” Article 2 These Rules shall enter into force on the day following that of their publication in the Official Gazette of Montenegro and they shall apply from 9 January 2015.
