The French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) mandates that specified French insurance entities and branches communicate their Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) to the regulator. This requirement applies to all documents submitted to the ACPR and necessitates the submission of a completed declaration form accompanied by proof of LEI issuance via the ACPR portal. Foreign entities operating in France must also inform the ACPR of their LEI and that of their French branches through their home national supervisory authority.
