Pursuant to Republic Act No. 11055 or the Philippine Identification System Act and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (RIRR), the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reminds all BSFIs to accept the National ID in all its recognized formats, such as the National ID card, National ID in paper form, and Digital National ID as a valid and sufficient proof of identity in all financial transactions without the need to require another ID.
