New Prescribed Fees: Amendments contained in GN R201 promulqated

in Government Gazette No 14572 -

dated 12 February 1993 Please note that new prescribed fees effective as from 12

obruary 1993 have been promulgated in the abovementioned

bovernment Gazette.

The fees shall be as follows:

(a) For an application for the registration of

a pension fund in terms of section 4 of the

Act [regulation 8 (d)]

(b) For the registration of a pension fund in

terms of section 4 of the Act [regulation

8(d) 1

(c) For an amalgamation of transfer in terms of

section 14 of the Act[regulation 24(c)]

(d) For the alteration or rescission of or

addition to the rules of a fund, per

alteration, rescission or addition

[requlation 24 (a) (iv) ] (e) For the inspection of one or more of

the documents referred to in section 35 of

the Act relating to one specific fund

(f) For a photostatic copy made by the Registrar of any document or register, per A4 page or part thereof 2,OO (g) For a double-spaced typewritten copy or an extract from any document or register made by the Registrar, per A4 page or part thereof 10,OO (h) For the authentication by the Registrar of a copy made or an extract taken under items (f) or (g) above, per A4 page or part thereof 5,OO (i) For certifying or confirming that a fund is registered under subsection (3) or (4) of section 4 of the Act, or that its name has been changed or its rules amended [except for the purposes of item (d) ] 25,OO (j) For a search fee per fund for services rendered in respect of items (e) , (f) , or (g) above (k) For the perusal of documents for the purposes of item (h) above, per A4 page or part thereof 5,OO " Please note that an. application for registration should be accompanied by the registration fee (see (b) above) to prevent delays. Should an application be rejected, the registration fee of R50 shall be returned to the applicant. i The fees are VAT inclusive ** Kindly note that the responsibility rests on the transferee fund to submit the prescribed fee. *** Due to practical difficulties, item (d) shall be applied as the fee per resolution and not per amendment.
