Circular No. 1/2025 - Isra and Mi'raj Holiday
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 1/2025 to mandate a holiday for all specialized lending institutions operating in Palestine. The directive requires the suspension of business operations on Monday, January 27, 2025, in observance of the Isra and Mi'raj commemoration. This closure is implemented pursuant to Article 22 of Decision No. 132 of 2011 concerning the licensing and supervision of specialized lending institutions.

Subject: Isra and Mi'raj Holiday
Based on the provisions of Article No. (22) of Decision No. (132) of 2011 concerning the system of licensing and supervision of specialized lending institutions and its amendments, and based on the Cabinet decision dated, it has been decided to suspend the working hours of specialized lending institutions on Monday, January 27, 2025, on the occasion of the Isra and Mi'raj commemoration.
On this blessed occasion, I ask God to return it to our nation having achieved our aspirations of establishing our independent state with its holy capital Jerusalem.
