The Central Bank of Libya, through its Director of Banking and Currency Supervision, has issued Circular Letter No. 69/2015 to extend the operational validity for high-value cheques exceeding 250,000.000 Libyan Dinars through the ACP system exclusively for public entities until December 2015. This extension builds upon prior directives that established electronic and manual clearing regulations for all commercial banks and initially extended high-value cheque operations through December 2014. The directive formally approves the continued acceptance of these cheques under previously approved terms, ensuring uninterrupted processing for public sector institutions.
