Subject: Real Estate Appraisal Reports
Attached is a copy of the letter from His Excellency the Head of the Land Authority regarding the necessity of archiving real estate appraisal reports, and requesting the attachment of such reports with mortgage deeds at land registration offices as a requirement to complete mortgage procedures.
Accordingly, necessary steps are requested to be taken for implementation in accordance with regulations.

Subject: Real Estate Appraisal Reports at Banks Operating in Palestine
We extend our best greetings. With reference to the above subject, please instruct the relevant parties on your side to issue a circular to the banks operating in Palestine regarding the following:
- It is essential that banks archive their real estate appraisal reports in a manner that allows for easy retrieval when needed. The General Administration of the Central Archive at the Land Authority can provide recommendations and assistance in this regard.
- It is essential to attach the real estate appraisal reports requested by the bank for financing purposes under mortgage deeds, along with the mortgage deeds at land registration offices, as a requirement to finalize mortgage transactions. This is due to the need of the General Administration of Appraisal and the real estate market to use the estimated values and data collected by licensed appraisers for the comprehensive real estate appraisal being undertaken by the Land Authority.
