Launch of the Credit Risk Database Philippines Web-based Scoring System (CRDPh System)
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas announced the launch of the CRDPh System, a web-based platform developed jointly with the Japan International Cooperation Agency to enhance credit risk assessment for small and medium enterprises. This automated system allows participating financial institutions to submit anonymized SME data and retrieve statistical credit scores and probability of default outputs to support inclusive lending. While participation is voluntary, financial institutions are encouraged to use these outputs to improve credit evaluation, loan pricing, and risk management practices.
