Circular 03-2022: Electronic Invoicing Before the General Directorate of Revenue
The Superintendence of the Securities Market of Panama issued Circular 03-2022 to remind regulated entities and license holders of the mandatory adoption schedule for the Panama Electronic Invoicing System (SFEP). The circular emphasizes that compliance with this schedule, established by the General Directorate of Revenue (DGI), is obligatory under Law 256 of November 26, 2021. This directive applies to all compliance officers and executives within entities holding licenses issued by the SMV.
