Resolution SMV No. 006-2025-SMV/01
The Superintendence of the National Market of Securities (SMV) issued Resolution No. 006-2025-SMV/01 on February 26, 2025, to amend specific provisions of the National Policy on Anti-Money Laundering, Countering the Financing of Terrorism, and Countering Proliferation Financing (NPLAFT). The resolution modifies articles 7, 11, 25, and 36, and incorporates a new article 7a into the regulatory framework. Article 7, subsection iv) of section 7.1, literal b) of section 7.4, and the first paragraph of section 7.8 are amended; section 11.2 of Article 11, literal l) of section 25.1 of Article 25 are amended; and Article 7a is incorporated, along with a final paragraph to Article 36 of the NPLAFT.
