Directive No. 05/DSB/DRO/2021 on Reporting Credits Granted to Holders of Qualified Participations
The Banco Nacional de Angola, through its Department of Banking Supervision and Department of Regulation and Organization of the Financial System, issued Directive No. 05/DSB/DRO/2021 to mandate monthly reporting of the total credit amounts granted to holders of qualified participations. Financial Institutions must submit standardized XML reports via the Financial Institutions Portal by 8:30 a.m. on the eighth day of each succeeding month, or via Excel to dsb@bna.ao until portal availability. Non-compliance triggers penalties under Law No. 14/21, and any interpretive ambiguities are resolved directly by the central bank.
