Decision on Issuing Gold and Silver Jubilee Coins for the 25th Anniversary of the Central Bank of Montenegro

[unofficial translation] Pursuant to Article 44 paragraph 2 item 3 and in conjunction with Article 5 paragraph 2 of the Central Bank of Montenegro Law (OGM 40/10, 6/13, 70/17, 125/23), the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro, at its meeting held on 25 July 2025, passed the following DECISION ON ISSUING GOLD AND SILVER JUBILEE COINS ON THE OCCASION OF CELEBRATING THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CENTRAL BANK OF MONTENEGRO Article 1 On the occasion of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Central Bank, the Central Bank of Montenegro (hereinafter: the Central Bank) shall issue jubilee coins in 2026. Article 2 Jubilee coins referred to in Article 1 of this Decision shall be issued in the form of gold and silver coins. Article 3 Gold coin shall be issued in denomination of 10 perpers and in the quantity of 50 pieces. Gold coin weighing 3,5 grams and 20 mm diameter shall be made of gold alloy, fineness 900/1000, in special proof technique with brilliant mirror-like flat surfaces and matte relief details. The permissible deviation from the weight of the gold coin shall be 2 ‰ (prom) above the weight specified in paragraph 2 of this Article. Article 4 Silver coin referred shall be issued in denomination of 1 perper and in the quantity of 250 pieces. Silver coin weighing 17 grams and 34 mm diameter shall be made of silver alloy, fineness 925/1000, in special proof technique with brilliant mirror-like flat surfaces and matte relief details. The permissible deviation from the weight of the silver coin shall be 2 ‰ (prom) above the weight specified in paragraph 2 of this Article.

Decision on Issuing Gold and Silver Jubilee Coins on the Occasion of Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Central Bank of Montenegro (OGM 94/25) 2 Article 5 The obverse of gold and silver coins shall be as follows: for the gold coin “10 PERPERS” and for the silver coin “1 PERPER” the denomination and currency unit shall be in the central part, the Coat of Arms of Montenegro shall be on the left side, while along the upper edge of the rim the text “CRNA GORA” shall be inscribed in Latin script, and the years “2001–2026” shall be inscribed along the lower edge of the rim. The reverse of gold and silver coins shall be as follows: a visual representation of the building of the Money Museum of the Central Bank of Montenegro shall be in the central part, and the Latin inscription “MUZEJ NOVCA, CETINJE” shall be placed below its lower edge, the text “CENTRALNA BANKA CRNE GORE” shall be inscribed in Latin script along the upper edge of the rim, and the text “25 GODINA” shall be inscribed in Latin script along the lower edge of the rim. The rim of gold and silver coins shall be smooth. Article 6 The manner of gold and silver coins using and packaging (the structure of collection) shall be governed by a separate decision of the Council of the Central Bank. Article 7 This decision shall enter into force on the eighth day following that of its publication in the “Official Gazette of Montenegro”.
