Seychelles Gambling (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2024

The Minister responsible for Finance, in consultation with the Seychelles Gambling Authority, has amended licensing fees under the Seychelles Gambling Act, 2014. The standard fee is doubled from SCR50,000 to SCR100,000, while both Interactive Gambling Operator type 1 and type 2 licence fees are set at SCR1,500,000. These amendments update the financial obligations for gambling operators operating within Seychelles.

Seychelles Gambling Act th [8 January 2024] 1 REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES SUPPLEMENT TO OFFICIAL GAZETTE SI S.I. 1 of 2024 SEYCHELLES GAMBLING ACT, 2014 (Act 29 of 2014) Seychelles Gambling (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 56 of the Seychelles Gambling Act, 2014, the Minister responsible for Finance, in consultation with the Authority makes the following Regulations —

  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Seychelles Gambling (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2024.
  2. The Seychelles Gambling (Fee) Regulations are amended as follows — (a) in regulation 2, in column 2, by repealing the fee “SCR50,000” and substituting it with a fee “SCR100,000”; (b) in regulation 3, by repealing row (a) and substituting it with a new row (a) as follows — 1 2 (a) (i) Interactive Gambling Operator type 1 licence (ii) Interactive Gambling Ope rator type 2 licence SCR1,500,000 SCR1,500,000 MADE this 29th day of December, 2023.
