The Bank of Israel has amended Proper Conduct of Banking Business Directive no. 250 to remove temporary coronavirus-related reliefs following government decisions to lift activity restrictions. The revision deletes Section 13a of the Business Continuity directive, allowing all banking branches to resume full pre-crisis operations and customer services. Despite the normalization of branch activities, banks remain required to maintain business continuity measures to protect customers and employees from ongoing pandemic risks.
