- Notice No. 10/2022, dated April 6, regarding the Granting of Credit to the Real Sector of the Economy – Production of Fertilizers and Soil Correction Materials The National Bank of Angola (BNA), aiming to align the financial sector with the objective of economic diversification, published Notice No. 10/2022, dated April 6, to encourage the granting of credit to the real sector of the economy. Through this Circular Letter, it hereby communicates the following: In view of the need to safeguard imports of inputs for the 2023/2024 agricultural season, credit requests related to fertilizers, seeds, manures, and other chemical and biological inputs for agriculture, to be acquired abroad, are eligible under the aforementioned regulation. Doubts and omissions arising from the interpretation of this Circular Letter must be submitted to the Credit Monitoring Office of the National Bank of Angola for appropriate clarification or support, and may be submitted via electronic mail: GAC_GERAL@bna.ao Luanda, August 2, 2023.
