Subject: Reporting and Communication Mechanism with the Financial Monitoring Unit

Based on the provisions of Article (14) of Law No. (20) of 2015 and its amendments regarding the combating of money laundering and terrorist financing, and aiming to ensure the confidentiality of the reporting process and speed in its execution when reporting suspected cases of money laundering or terrorist financing or any of the predicate crimes, all specialized lending institutions are required to strictly comply with reporting and sending and receiving correspondence between the institution and the Financial Monitoring Unit directly via the "GoAML" electronic program page of the Unit as of the date 2018/09/01, in accordance with the mechanism outlined in the attached guide for the registration and reporting process.

# GoAML Web User Guide

## Registration

Before reporting on the Financial Monitoring Unit's reporting system, you must access the page for registering data of companies responsible for reporting by entering the following link:

https://goaml.ffu.ps

Then click on Register on the subject above the red rectangle, and then select organization as shown in the figure below:

After clicking on Register, you are automatically redirected to the reporting institutions' data registration page as shown in the figure below. Regarding the Entity Type field, the registered company is distinguished by its type, such as bankers and banks. Security agencies and ministries and other institutions should select stakeholder. Select Reporting Entity.

The Financial Intelligence Unit is the arm of the global Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). It is part of the efforts of the Government in combating money laundering, and financing of terrorist activities.

The core role of the FIU is that it serves as the country's central agency for the collection, analysis and dissemination of information regarding money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
