The National Bank of Serbia has authorized the issuance of 100-dinar numismatic silver coins bearing the portrait of Nikola Tesla across two separate minting runs of 210,000 pieces each. Each one-ounce coin, struck at 99.95% fineness in either proof or high-gloss finishes, will feature Tesla’s semi-profile on the obverse with the inscriptions “Electrical Visionary” and “Powering the Future.” The reverse designs will showcase his rotating magnetic field and oscillator inventions alongside enumerations of their technological applications, with distribution prices set by the central bank effective upon official publication.

The design of the reverse of the numismatic money from Section 1, item 1) of this Decision shall be as follows: the central motif is a drawing of the rotating magnetic field – Egg of Columbus, Теsla’s invention from 1882. Above the central motif, runs the wording “ELEСTROMECHANIСS”. The first line to the left of the central motif features the wording “AIR CONDITIONERS”, the second line the wording “GENERATORS”, the third line the wording “SHOP TOOLS”, аnd the fourth line the wording: “HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES”. The first line to the right of the central motif features the wording “INDUCTION MOTORS”, the second line the wording “REGULATORS”, the third line the wording “ELEVATORS”, аnd the fourth line the wording “AMUSEMENT RIDES”. The first line below the central motif features the wording “ROTAТING MAGNETIC FIЕLD”, the second line the wording “- THE EGG OF COLUMBUS -”, the third line designates the year of minting “2025”, аnd the fourth line includes the wording “NBS” in both Latin and Cyrillic script, separated by a dot. The design of the reverse of the numismatic money from Section 1, item 2) of this Decision shall be as follows: the central motif is a drawing of Tesla’s oscillator, one of Tesla’s inventions. Above the central motif, runs the wording “TESLA`S OSCILLATOR”. The first line to the left of the central motif features the wording “THE INCIDENT”, the second line the wording “OF 1898”, аnd the third line the designation of the location of earthquake epicentre. The first line to the right of the central motif features the wording “E. HOUSTON ST.”, the second line “NEW YORK CITY”, аnd the third line the symbol of seismic wave. The first line below the central motif features the wording “THE EARTHQUAKE MACHINE” between quotation marks, the second line designates the year of minting “2025”, аnd the third line includes the wording “NBS” in both Latin and Cyrillic script, separated by a dot. In the upper half of the reverse of the numismatic money referred to in Section 1 of this Decision, above the central motif from paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Section, the wording “REPUBLIKA SRBIJA” runs in a semicircle, in Latin script on the left and in Cyrillic script on the right, while the central part features the Great Coat-of-Arms of the Republic of Serbia. In the lower half, below the central motif, the wording “1 oz .999 SILVER” runs in a semicircle on the left. To the right of this wording, separated by a dot, runs the wording “DINARA 100 ДИНАРА”. The wordings run in a semicircle in the upper and lower halves of the reverse and are separated by dots. 5. Along the rim of the numismatic money from Section 1 hereof there are vertical rounded reeds of 0.20 mm in diameter. 6. The National Bank of Serbia shall sell the numismatic money referred to in Section 1 of this Decision at a price it determines.
