Regulation on the Issuance, Public Offering, and Circulation of Investment Securities of International Organizations in Azerbaijan
The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan issued Resolution № 49/2 to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for the issuance, public offering, and circulation of investment securities by international organizations that are members of Azerbaijan. The regulation mandates state registration and transparent disclosure of issuance terms, while permitting securities to be denominated in national or foreign currencies and placed via public offerings or private placements. It further outlines the Central Bank’s authority to suspend issues for violations, approve amendments to issuance terms, and govern the trading and final withdrawal of these securities from circulation.
