Notice of Consultation Paper Release
The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) released two consultation papers proposing updated listing rules and Shari’a governance, accounting, and auditing standards for Islamic firms and securities. Stakeholders must submit feedback on the proposed listing rules by 15 November 2011 and on the Islamic finance standards by 25 November 2011. These proposals will establish new compliance and reporting obligations for regulated entities operating within the Dubai financial services sector.

The DFSA has released the following for Consultation:
• Consultation Paper No. 78 - Proposed DFSA Listing Rules
(The deadline for providing comments on this proposal is 15th November 2011)
• Consultation Paper No. 79 - Shari’a Governance and Accounting and Auditing Standards for Islamic Firms and Securities
(The deadline for providing comments on this proposal is 25th November 2011)
