Pension Fund (Financial Reporting Requirements) (Amendment of Schedule) Notice, 2024

Governor Emmanuel Maluke Letete, Regulator of Pensions at the Central Bank of Lesotho, has amended Schedule 7 of the Pension Fund (Financial Reporting Requirements) Regulations, 2020. The revised schedule mandates pension funds to report asset allocations by investment destination and management structure, covering deposits, government and corporate securities, immovable property, and listed or unlisted shares. Reporting must differentiate between direct asset manager holdings and insurance policy investments to ensure comprehensive financial transparency across all specified asset classes.
