Bank of Zambia Circular 07/2003: Broad-Based Interbank Foreign Exchange System
The Bank of Zambia issued Circular 07/2003 to invite all commercial banks to apply for participation in a newly established broad-based interbank foreign exchange system. Interested institutions must submit their applications to the Acting Director of the Financial Markets Department in Lusaka by the deadline of 11 June 2003. This initiative expands market access and liquidity within the national foreign exchange framework by enabling broader commercial bank involvement.
