Bank of Zambia Circular 01/2025: 2025 Payment Systems Returns Submission Calendar
The Bank of Zambia has issued Circular 01/2025 establishing the mandatory submission calendar for Payment Systems Returns for the 2025 financial year. The directive specifies strict deadlines for daily, monthly, and quarterly returns, alongside specific due dates for mobile money rewards, ZIPSS audit certificates, SWIFT compliance attestations, and audited financial statements. All reports must be filed through the Digital Financial Services portal by their respective deadlines, with a daily penalty of K500 imposed for late or non-compliant submissions until the breach is rectified.
