EBA Decision amending Decision EBA/DC/2021/373 concerning information required for the monitoring of Basel supervisory standards
The European Banking Authority amends its previous decision to align its reporting framework with the incorporated Basel III framework under CRR3 and CRD6. The EBA eliminates the requirement for data submission via Basel monitoring templates from 31 December 2024 onwards to reduce the reporting burden on credit institutions. Competent authorities must instead submit Quantitative Impact Studies data, with mandatory core and EU-specific templates defined in Annex I and non-mandatory templates in Annex III.
