Notice of Amendments to Legislation
The DFSA Board enacted the Regulatory Law Amendment Law and issued five Rulemaking Instruments to comprehensively update key modules of the DFSA Rulebook and Sourcebook. These instruments repeal or replace existing Authorisation, Supervision, General, Glossary, Islamic Finance, Representative Office, and Prudential modules while introducing a new Regulatory Policy and Process module. All legislative and rulebook amendments take effect on 28 April 2011 following the conclusion of targeted public consultations.
