Announcement on the Issuance of Additional 10 and 5 Fening Coins Minted in 2011

CENTRAL BANK OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

ANNOUNCEMENT on the issuance of additional coins minted in 2011, in denominations of 10 fening and 5 fening

In accordance with Decision 100-UV No. 97/10 dated September 30, 2010, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has minted additional quantities of coins in denominations of 10 fening and 5 fening.

These coins have the following basic features and technical characteristics:

• 10 fening coins in accordance with the Decision on the issuance, basic features, and putting into circulation of coins in denominations of 10, 20, and 50 fening, Decision No. 23/98 dated November 18 and 19, 1998 (Official Gazette of BiH, Nos. 24/98 and 25/98), with the change on the reverse of the 10 fening coin being the numerical designation of the minting year to "2011";
• 5 fening coins in accordance with the Decision on the issuance, basic features, and putting into circulation of coins in denominations of 5 convertible marks and 5 fening, Decision No. 157/05 dated December 22, 2005 (Official Gazette of BiH, No. 92/05), with the change on the reverse of the 5 fening coin being the numerical designation of the minting year to "2011".

Starting from March 21, 2011, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, through its central office, main units, and branches, put the aforementioned coins into circulation as legal tender in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The announcement on the issuance of additional coins minted in 2011, in denominations of 10 fening and 5 fening, will be available on the website of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This announcement will be published in the "Official Gazette of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", "Official Gazette of the Republic of Srpska", and "Official Gazette of the Brčko District of BiH".
