Finansinspektionen, the Swedish financial supervisory authority, issued regulations amending its previous rules (FFFS 2015:22) concerning the application of the EUR exchange rate for mutual benefit societies. The amendment specifically updates the heading of the existing regulations to clarify their applicability to mutual benefit societies under the Insurance Business Act. These revised regulations entered into force on 1 November 2020.

Finansinspektionen prescribes pursuant to Chapter 7, section 2, second paragraph of the Insurance Business Ordinance (2011:257) that the heading to Finansinspektionen’s regulations (FFFS 2015:22) regarding the EUR rate in the area of insurance shall have the following wording. Finansinspektionen’s regulations regarding the EUR rate for mutual benefit societies Section 1 These regulations apply to the application of the Insurance Business Act (1982:713) as applied by mutual benefit societies pursuant to the Act (2010:2044) on the Implementation of the Insurance Business Act (2010:2043).
