CB Circular No. 05/2024 – MSME Finance Survey Report Dissemination Workshop
The Bank of Zambia, in collaboration with ZamStats and the Ministry of Finance, invites commercial bank and non-bank financial institution CEOs to a dissemination workshop for their recently completed MSME Finance Survey Report. Conducted in June 2022 and delayed by the national census, the report assesses financial access for Zambian micro, small, and medium enterprises. The half-day event will take place on February 23, 2024, at the InterContinental Hotel to facilitate stakeholder engagement and inform ongoing economic transformation efforts.

INVITATION TO ATTEND THE DISSEMINATION WORKSHOP FOR THE MSME FINANCE SURVEY REPORT – FEBRUARY 23, 2024
Reference is made to the above matter.
The Bank of Zambia working in collaboration with the Zambia Statistics Agency (ZamStats) and Ministry of Finance and National Planning (MoFNP) conducted the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Finance Survey in June 2022 to assess the financial access landscape for MSMEs in Zambia. However, completion of the analytical work had to be delayed due to the conduct of the 2022 National Census of Population and Housing.
The working team comprising staff from the Bank, ZamStats, MoFNP and Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development, recently completed the MSME Finance Survey report which is to be disseminated at a half-day workshop on February 23, 2024. In this regard, we cordially invite you to the above-mentioned workshop as your institution is key in contributing to the growth and economic transformation of MSMEs in Zambia.
