Compliance with EBA Guidelines on the exercise of data collection on high-net-worth individuals under Directive 2013/36/EU and Directive 2019/2034 (EBA/GL/2022/08)

The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) declares its compliance with the European Banking Authority's guidelines regarding data collection on high-net-worth individuals under Directives 2013/36/EU and 2019/2034. These guidelines become applicable to credit institutions and investment firms supervised by the ACPR as of December 31, 2022. Affected entities are required to take all necessary measures to ensure adherence to these guidelines in accordance with Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010.

OPINION Compliance with the European Banking Authority Guidelines on the exercise of data collection on high-net-worth individuals under Directive 2013/36/EU and Directive 2019/2034 (EBA/GL/2022/08)

The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared itself compliant with the European Banking Authority's guidelines (EBA/GL/2022/08) on the exercise of data collection on high-net-worth individuals under Directive 2013/36/EU and Directive 2019/2034.

These guidelines are applicable as of December 31, 2022, to credit institutions subject to ACPR supervision and to investment firms subject to ACPR supervision, to which Section 2 of Directive (EU) 2019/2034 applies, in accordance with its Article 25.

The entities referred to in the preceding paragraph must do everything in their power to comply with these guidelines, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 establishing a European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority).
