AMF Position DOC-2024-08: EBA Guidelines on Information Requirements for Certain Crypto-Asset Transfers

The AMF applies the European Banking Authority's guidelines on the 'travel rule' for crypto-asset transfers under Regulation (EU) 2023/1113. These guidelines specify the information that must accompany crypto-asset transfers and the steps crypto-asset service providers must take to detect missing or incomplete data. They also outline the measures providers must implement to manage money laundering and terrorist financing risks when required information is absent.
