Basel Committee Final Rules on Bank Disclosures of the Composition of Capital

The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) has issued guidance implementing the Basel Committee’s final rules on bank capital composition disclosures. Banks must integrate these minimum requirements into regular financial reporting and corporate websites according to specified implementation dates and reporting frequencies. The directive directs institutions to the Bank for International Settlements for full documentation and provides SAMA’s Basel III Team as the primary contact for technical inquiries.
