Circular No. (77 / 2023) To all money changers operating in Palestine Date: Thursday, 23 March 2023

Subject: The Fifth Issue of the (20) Jordanian Dinar Banknote

In light of the Central Bank of Jordan's issuance of a new fifth series of the (20) Jordanian Dinar banknote, immediate measures are requested to accept transactions with the new issue; including:

  1. Preparing machines to count and inspect the new series of banknotes alongside the current series of the same denomination.
  2. Training staff on the security features of the currency to enable them to distinguish any forgery or counterfeiting.
  3. Informing customers about the new issue and its key security features.
