The Capital Markets Authority, acting through the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, has issued Notice No. 80 to amend paragraph 6 of article 6302 of the Implementing Regulation for Offering Securities Series 6000. The amendment requires issuers or licensed institutions to submit written notification of any exempt offering within 14 days of the subscription period's end, as detailed in the appendix and aligned with existing regulatory instructions. This notice takes immediate effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notice No. 80 Regarding the Amendment of the Implementing Regulation for Offering Securities Series 6000 Based on Law No. 161 dated August 17, 2011 regarding Financial Markets, and based on Capital Markets Authority Board Decision No. 21/11/4 taken in its meeting held on December 14, 2021 As follows: We inform you: First: Paragraph (6) of Article 6302 of the Implementing Regulation for Offering Securities regarding the requirements for exempt offerings is amended to read as follows: 6- The issuer or licensed institution must notify the Authority in writing of any exempt offering that has been offered and subscribed to, within a period not exceeding 14 days from the end of the subscription period as stated in the appendix, in accordance with the instructions specified for this regulation.
