The Superintendencia del Mercado de Valores (SMV) of Panama issued Circular 04-2026 to notify regulated financial entities of a new sanctions list published by the United Nations Security Council. The circular specifies the UN list code DPPA/SCAD/SCSOB/2026/SCA/2/26 (01) and its publication date of February 27, 2026. Financial institutions are instructed to verify this list and contact the Financial Analysis Unit immediately if they have not yet received the relevant information.
