Banco de Portugal issued Circular Letter No. CC/2025/00000027 to disseminate the European Banking Authority's guidelines on risk-weighted assets for residential real estate exposures under Article 126a of the Capital Requirements Regulation. These guidelines are applicable to credit institutions and financial companies starting from 4 November 2025. The document serves as the official national transposition and communication of the EBA/GL/2025/03 regulatory standards.
