We address you to communicate the monthly frequency requirement that payment service providers performing the function of ATM networks must comply with, according to the definition established in the consolidated text of the regulations on “Payment Service Providers”. The requirement will enter into force for the information corresponding to the period of July 2026, with its due date operating on 22/08/2026. The operational instructions complementing this communication will be disseminated in due course. The sheets corresponding to the new consolidated text are attached in the Annex. ANEXO (ANNEX)

The requirement must be submitted monthly, from the start of operations, with its due date falling on the 22nd day of the month following the submission (or the next business day). Amounts will be recorded in thousands without decimals. For rounding purposes, values will be incremented by one unit when the first digit of the fractions is equal to or greater than 5, discarding the latter if they are lower. The information will cover all monthly withdrawal and deposit operations carried out via ATMs in the country (Section A) and withdrawals made at foreign ATMs with debit cards issued in the country (Section B). Furthermore, the stock of non-bank ATMs at the end of each month must be reported (Section C). Sections A and C must be completed by all registered ATM networks, while Section B is only to be reported by those of these networks that have associated financial entities. The information will be submitted in accordance with the regulations on “Submission of Information to the Bank of the Argentine Republic”.

Section A: ATMs in Argentina The data must be reported by totaling the operations carried out in ATMs belonging to local networks, located within the national territory, corresponding to the month under report. Requested data:

  1. C.U.I.T. of the ATM owner for the operation.
  2. Code of the payment instrument used / entered: according to Table 1. Operations performed with NFC must be included in each payment instrument.
  3. Code of the payment scheme of the instrument used: according to Table 2.
  4. Place of issuance of the card used / of the debited entity: 4.1. Argentina 4.2. Foreign
  5. C.U.I.T. of the entity that issued the card to the customer: when issued in Argentina, the financial entity, non-financial credit or purchase card issuer company, or payment service provider will be identified. In cases of withdrawal order, biometrics, and others (according to Table 1), the C.U.I.T. of the local debited entity will be recorded.
  6. ATM network code –according to Table 3– to which the used debit card belongs when issued in Argentina (if ‘payment instrument used’ indicates credit or prepaid card, it will be completed with “Not applicable”). In cases of withdrawal order, biometrics, and others (according to Table 1), the ATM network code to which the local debited entity belongs will be integrated.
  7. Type of operation: withdrawal or deposit.
  8. Original currency: SWIFT Code.
  9. Total number of operations.
  10. Total amount in original currency.

Section B: Foreign ATMs The data must be reported by totaling the withdrawal operations carried out at ATMs located abroad that were effected via debit cards issued in Argentina by financial entities associated with the reporting network, corresponding to the month under report. Requested data:

  1. C.U.I.T. of the debited financial entity.
  2. Code of the payment scheme of the instrument used: according to Table 2.
  3. Original currency: SWIFT Code.
  4. Total number of withdrawals.
  5. Total amount in original currency.

Section C: ATMs in Argentina – Quantity of non-bank ATMs The data must be reported by totaling the number of non-bank ATMs installed within the national territory belonging to the network, corresponding to the end of the month under report. Requested data:

  1. C.U.I.T. of the ATM owner: The holder's number will be reported.
  2. Province in which the devices are located, according to Table 4.
  3. Total number of ATMs.
