## Decision of the Board of Directors No. 98 for 2023

### dated May 10, 2023

Regarding the increase of the maximum financing limit granted  
by companies, associations, and civil society institutions to finance micro-enterprises

The Board of Directors of the Financial Regulatory Authority  
Having reviewed Law No. 10 for 2009 regulating the supervision of markets  
and non-banking financial instruments;  
Having reviewed Law No. 141 for 2014 regulating the activity of financing  
medium, small, and micro-enterprises;  
Having reviewed the Law for the Development of Medium, Small, and Micro-Enterprises issued by  
Law No. 152 for 2020;  
And after the approval of the Board of Directors in its session held on May 10, 2023;

### Decided:

#### (Article One)

The maximum financing limit granted by licensed companies, associations, and civil society institutions  
operating in the activity of financing micro-enterprises is increased by ten percent (10%)  
to become two hundred and twenty thousand Egyptian pounds.

#### (Article Two)

This decision shall be published in The Egyptian Gazette and on the Authority's official website, and shall take  
effect from the day following its publication in The Egyptian Gazette.
