The Saudi Central Bank issued a circular to financing companies, formally extending the status of a legal representative to their in-house legal department employees under the Ministry of Justice's updated Lawyers System regulations. This designation permits these employees to represent their companies in judicial proceedings in more than three cases simultaneously, provided they obtain a license from the General Directorate of Advocacy. Applicants must submit a personal application along with specific documentation, including a valid employment contract, active duty certificate, social insurance records, a power of attorney, company registration documents, and recent photographs.

Subject: Inclusion of Legal Department Employees of Private Legal Entities within the Status of a Representative
With reference to the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Justice No. (6622) dated 9/9/1438 AH, issued pursuant to the Royal Order No. (32749) dated 16/7/1438 AH, concerning the Ministry of Justice taking the necessary measures to include legal department employees of private legal entities within the status of a representative under the Lawyers System, and including in paragraph (first) the addition of clause No. (13/18) to the Executive Regulations of the Lawyers System with the following text: "Legal department employees of private legal entities shall be considered within the status of a representative of such private legal entity - upon being licensed by the General Directorate of Advocacy - pursuant to a power of attorney from the authorized signatory. etc."
As a result of the continuous cooperation and coordination between the Bank and the Ministry of Justice in all areas of mutual interest, the Bank wishes to inform financing companies that their legal department employees are included within the status of a representative of the financing company. Consequently, legal department employees in financing companies are entitled to represent the company in judicial authorities in more than three cases simultaneously, subject to the following conditions: a. The applicant personally (the legal department employee) must apply to the General Directorate of Advocacy at the Ministry. b. The application must be accompanied by the following documents:
