The Central Bank of Bahrain has issued a consultation circular requesting stakeholder feedback on its revised draft Secured Transactions Law. All designated financial licensees, audit firms, and law firms must submit their comments, including nil responses, in an editable format to the regulator’s designated email address. Submissions are due by 13 June 2022, with the full draft available for review on the Central Bank’s official website.

### Consultation: Draft Secured Transactions Law
Further to circular EDBS/KH/C/11/2021 with regards to the consultation on the Revised Draft Secured Transactions Law, the CBB has received from the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Awqaf a revised draft of the Secured Transactions Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The CBB is issuing this revised proposed draft for consultation which shall be available on the CBB website ([www.cbb.gov.bh](http://www.cbb.gov.bh)) under the “open consultations” section.
All licensees to whom this circular is addressed, audit firms and law firms are requested to provide their comments, including “nil comments”, on the proposed law in an **editable format** to [consultation@cbb.gov.bh](mailto:consultation@cbb.gov.bh) by 13<sup>th</sup> June 2022.
