Notice of Amendments to Legislation October 2012
The DFSA Board issued five Rulemaking Instruments on 15 October 2012 to bring updated Prudential, General, Conduct of Business, Glossary, and Islamic Finance modules into force on 9 December 2012. The new Prudential module entirely replaces the previous version, streamlining Branch waiver processes and aligning market risk standards with Basel Committee guidelines. Consequently, the DFSA will withdraw existing standard Notices on the effective date, reducing administrative burdens for applicants and authorized firms while updating related rulebook modules.
