Circular No. (45/2023) To all money changers operating in Palestine Date: Sunday, 12 February 2023

Subject: The Fifth Issue of the (50) Jordanian Dinar Banknote

In light of the Central Bank of Jordan's issuance of a new fifth series paper currency in the (50) dinar denomination, it is requested to take immediate measures to accept transactions using the new issue; including:

  1. Preparing machines to count and inspect the new series of paper currency alongside the current issue of the same denomination.
  2. Training staff on the security features of the currency to enable them to distinguish any forgery or counterfeiting.
  3. Raising customer awareness regarding the new issue and its key security features.
